you will depart towards Baratang Islands. It is
approximately 110 km away from Port Blair and is connected
by ATR Road (Andaman Trunk Road or the State Highway).
- You will be travelling through
the enchanting forests of Jarawas Tribe Reserve in convoys
to reach Nilambur Jetty (Middle Strait) from where you will
take a ferry for Baratang Island which is a 15 minutes ride.
- Baratang Island has thick
mangrove creeks on both sides followed by dense tropical
forest.
- Here you will be visiting the
Lime Stone Cave by 'Dongis' or small boats. The journey is
sure to enthral you as it will take you underneath the dense
forest of mangroves plantation.
- You will then be visiting the
Mud Volcanoes locally called ‘Jalki’. These volcanoes have
erupted sporadically and squirt little fountains of mud.
- You will then proceed for Rangat
that is 170 km from Port Blair and is an island spread over
1070 km in Middle Andaman with beautiful beaches and gusty
sea breezes.
- Rangat is an offbeat destination

- Amkunj Beach is an eco-friendly
beach in Rangat that has a rocky shoreline, not ideal for
swimming, however, you can sit on the wooden benches
installed on the shoreline and spot turtles.
- Moricedera is a beach perfect
for a picnic in a natural environment of the sea on one side
and lush green forest on the other side. You can walk
through the twin volcanic rocks that lead to a spectacular
view of the horizon.
- Ross & Smith Island are actually
two separate islands joined together by a sand bar which
becomes visible during low tides making it look like one
Island. The sand bar is natural formed adding beauty to this
place.
- Kalipur Beach is home to some
rare and giant turtles such as Oliver Ridley and Leather
Back. This beach stands apart from the others due to its
volcanic grey coloured sand and crystal-clear water. If you
are lucky you can witness turtles laying their eggs and baby
turtles being set free into the sea.
- Dhaninallah Mangrove Nature Walk
Way is named after a mangrove “Dhanipatti”. The walkway of
713 meters is the longest walkway in the country and leads
to a beautiful beach known as Dhaninallah Beach. Here you
can see the hatchery of Sea Turtles maintained by wildlife
officials.
- Once you are done visiting these
beautiful places you will proceed for a return journey to
Rangat.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in

- Early in the morning before
daybreak depart for Port Blair.
- You will be returning through
the same path passing through Jarawas Tribe Reserve
travelling on the ATR Road (Andaman Trunk Road or the State
Highway).
- After the long journey takes
some rest at the hotel in Port Blair or explore the
surroundings by yourself.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in
Port Blair.
- After breakfast, you will be
escorted to Andaman Water Sports Complex to catch a ferry
which will be your mate for the entire excursion to Ross
Island and North Bay.
- Ross Island was the Capital of
Port Blair during the British and Japanese regime and was
then known as “The Paris of the East”. The island is an
ideal destination for nature walks amidst sylvan
surroundings with deer’s, peacocks and exotic birds

Gateway to Port Blair” is famous for its coral reefs, exotic
varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and water sports

- Later in the evening return back
to the hotel in Port Blair for an overnight stay.

Airport for onward journey.
